It’s not a Republican war you idiots. It’s a war on terrorism - you know, the Axis of Evil folks that want Americans either converted to their poluted form of Islam or our heads cut off. 

Here is the headline on the Courant’s Web site right now.

So Lieberman is trying to “hobble” America’s first black presidential nominee and defend a Republican war? Who writes this garbage?

“He’s out there,” said Bishop Theodore L. Brooks of New Haven, one of the black ministers who came to Lieberman’s defense in 2006, when Democratic primary voters rejected him. “I feel for him. I think he is in a very lonely place.”

Ya know bishop, it’s not about Lieberman’s journey away from the Democrat party, it’s about the Democrat party changing their tune to the point where people leave.

“It really is a kind of stunning transformation,” said state Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney, a Democrat from New Haven, Lieberman’s home and political base until 2006.

Stunning transformation for whom Senator Looney? I’m sounding like a broken record…

    Considering how the Democrats completely abandoned Lieberman in his last election fight with Lamont, it is no surprise that he has decided to be as independent as he is.    The really funny thing is that when Lieberman put the country ahead of his party affiliation, he had to go to McCain.

    As in the case of Zell Miller, Lieberman didn’t leave the party, the party left him.
