The writing staff for Conservative247.org - which is now down to the power of one - is looking for writers to contribute to this site. I’m getting a bit busy with work and now that the sun is out, I’m not able to post as frequently as I would like. Would you like to contribute?
It’s really quite easy to post here, but keep in mind that it doesn’t pay anything (yet) but the goal of the site is to be a primer for conservatives, so it has value beyond words. It’s also fun to see visitors from other popular blogs link to your posts and quote you!
Ideas for posts come from two areas. You an either write an original piece about a conservative subject, or you can provide commentary on a current event, news item or blog post and tie it into conservative concepts. Click on one of the links for examples.
How much would I have to write?
As much or as little as you’d like. I would prefer that you post at least one or two items per week. We don’t want to just write blog posts that link to other sites as it is not our purpose. If you are commenting on a news story or blog post, we’re looking for at least one or two paragraphs of commentary and links/trackbacks to those other sites.
Is there an editor that can clean up what I write?
Yes, that can be arranged. Short and to the point is perfect for blogging. If you can remove a paragraph, sentence or word, and still clearly get your point across, do it. I’m trying to stick to the AP Stylebook to have some sort of writing standards.
How do I contact you to start?

At this point, registration is not required to post comments. The first time you post a comment, there will be a delay while the it is reviewed by the owner. Greetings, I heard about your site through Jim Vicevich’s Blog. I enjoy it and check it from time to time. I have a Current events blog which looks at current events in light of the Bible and Christ’s Seconded coming. I am a Right Wing Christian Conservative and follow politics religiously because I believe that they pertain especially today to Biblical Prophecy. I don’t know if that would be to much for you and your sight. But…If you wanted to add a Right wing Christian Conservative point of view to your site I would be willing to do it and for Nothing. It’s a passion much as your self. No offense if you would not want to try it out. But please feel free to just take a run through the different blog postings on my sight from time to time.
