NASA science – climate change numbers don’t add up
November 16, 2008
The United Nations relies on four data sources for it’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. One of them is NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), headed up by Dr. James Hansen who some consider to be the scientific leader of global warming hysteria, and a good buddy of Al Gore.
Other scientists – who have a full time job peer-reviewing GISS data – pointed out that GISS carried over Russian data that was two months old. Gee, ya think it would be warmer in August as compared to October?
DNC claims poverty, asks for donations after election
November 13, 2008
A few months ago I took one for the team and subscribed to e-mail alerts from the Obama campaign and family. It was so nice to get personal e-mails from Michelle reminding me I only had until midnight to donate to the campaign for a chance to have a front row seat to history on election night. Goody.
Anyway, yesterday I got an e-mail from David Plouffe, campaign manager for Obama. He asked for all of us to donate directly to the Democrat National Committee since they are broke.

Privacy rights of illegal alien felons trump law-abiding gun owners
November 11, 2008
In Oregon last year, the Mail Tribune asked the Jackson County sheriff to provide a list of those with a concealed carry permit. The sheriff said no, and the case went to court, but did you know that a 2005 request to provide a list of all illegal aliens convicted of a crime – including felonies – was turned down by a judge referencing privacy rights?
You would think a list of convicted felons that were supposed to be deported may have news value. The federal government was supposed to immediately deport them after the sentence was served, but reporters found numerous examples where the criminals just mixed right back in with the U.S. population after release. But nooooo – you can’t get that list, it may lead to racial profiling.
Palin could be next national conservative leader
November 7, 2008
I have no idea who will step up as the leader of conservatives during the next two years. Quite honestly, I’m not sure if anyone will step up as a national leader for conservatives. But we do need a leader.
Could it be Gov. Palin? One thing seems for certain, if we held a national Republican primary right now, she’d win hands down.
