Conservatives will be fighting the global warming myths – now rebranded as climate change – for years. No one is disputing that the temperature of the world has increased a little bit. This change in temperature results in changes around the world. Might have less ice at the poles, water temperatures may be a bit warmer and yes, the sea level may rise a little bit.
But to imply that human activity is causing these changes is the ultimate in vanity. The only thing that is worse is implying that we can reverse the changes that are occurring. So, what is the correct temperature for the world anyway? Who gets to determine that number?
SCOTUS Must Hold D.C. Council in Contempt – Put them in JAIL

Man does this just make me mad. The recent SCOTUS decision confirmed that the Second Amendment was an individual right, but the Washington D.C. government still refuses to get with the program. This morning Dick Heller went to city hall or where ever to apply for his permit and it was automatically rejected.
Heller’s pistol is a semi-automatic handgun that has a magazine that holds seven rounds. For those interested, I would guess that the weapon is a .40 or .45 caliber. They denied the application for no good reason at all, just to be a pain in the ass and illegally fight the SCOTUS decision.
He did not bring his weapon to the meeting since his lawyer figured there was a good chance he’d be arrested doing so. Read more

Can Chicago residents defend themselves? You’re welcome to run and hide, move out of the city, or just hope you don’t become a victim, but the city has basically banned handgun ownership and does not allow concealed carry permits. The state is a bit more lenient, but there is no state preemption of local laws.
